Leviticus 23:2
“And YAHUAH spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, These are the appointed feasts of YAHUAH that you shall proclaim as holy convocations; they are my appointed feasts. “Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a Shabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation. You shall do no work. It is a Shabbath to YAHUAH in all your dwelling places. “These are the appointed feasts of YAHUAH, the holy convocations, which you shall proclaim at the time appointed for them.“
The Passover / Pecach
The 1st Feast Day of the Hebrew Year
This feast day is fully manifested in the act of YAHUSHA being crucified on the stake for the remission of our sins.
Feast of Unleavened Bread
The 2nd Feast Day(s) of the Hebrew Year
YAHUAH uses leaven to symbolize sin. The unleavened bread symbolizes a sinless life. We are to put leaven out of our homes and not eat it for seven days.
Feast of First Fruits
The 3rd Feast Day of the Hebrew Year
To symbolically present ourselves as an unleavened (physical and spiritual) First Fruit harvest offering or oblation to YAHUAH.
Feast of Trumpets / Yom Teruah
The 5th Feast Day(s) of the Hebrew Year
Blowing of the trumpet, for us all to seek and call out to YAHUAH with sincerity for forgiveness and deliverance.
Day of Atonement / Yom Kippur
The 6th Feast Day(s) of the Hebrew Year
The pouring out and purging our soul with Repentance and Fasting for 24 hours (sundown to sundown.
Hanukkah / “Feast of Dedication”
The 8th Feast Day(s) of the Hebrew Year
A period for Israel to rededicate their lives to keep the covenant. A time of renewal.
Purim / “Lots”
An additional YASHAR’EL’S Feast Day after the main Feast Days of YAHUAH in the Hebrew Year
A memorial for the time YAHUAH saved his people from extinction through Hadassah (Esther).
